London, May 21: The world’s third best tennis player, Andy Murray, has another quality – a huge capacity to eat.

At 22, Murray can leave anyone amazed by the amount of food that he can eat.

In 45 minutes, he demolished a huge hamburger, a bag of salt and vinegar crisps, two chocolate bars and an apple, and thereafter, he was looking for more food.

In his defence, Murray said that he hadn’t eaten all day and he probably burns about 10,000 calories a day with his gruelling fitness regime.

“I’m fine. I have trained with the ball today and done some running, so I’m doing all the movements I need to be doing before a game. I haven’t even thought about not playing in the final. It’s as simple as that – no chance,” he added.

London, May 21: British tennis player Andy Murray, a Scot by birth, has said that he wouldn’t mind his kids having English accents.

“I don’t think it would bother me at all if my kids grew up with English accents. A lot of my best friends are English and I’ve spent a lot of time here. My home is in London now and I love living here. I’m sure it would be different if my girlfriend Kim was Scottish — but she is not,” The Sun quoted Murray, as saying.

PCB asks Mohammad Yousuf to obtain ICL’s response over his resignation

Lahore, May 21: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked middle order batsman Mohammad Yousuf to table the ICL’s response over his decision to quit the rebel league.

Yousuf met PCB officials Wasim Bari, Mohammad Naeem and Zakir Khan to convey to them that he has terminated his contract with the Indian Cricket League (ICL), and is now available to play for the national team.

Ricky Ponting wants nothing more than to win Ashes in England

Sydney, May 21: Australia captain Ricky Ponting has said that he wants nothing more than to be leader of an Ashes winning team in England.

With the series to be held between July 8 and August 24, Ponting recalling the 2005 series loss, said: “In 2005, we got off to a great start and then things slipped away from us from there. A lot of us have been there, and learned from our mistakes. And we''re obviously keen to rectify that.”
