
Singapore-based Mobile and Wireless Group (MWg) today announced their entrance into the Indian wireless market with the launch of their latest Windows Mobile handsets - the MWg Atom V and MWg Zinc II.
The MWg Atom V is a slim handset of 14.95mm with a touch-screen operated device with an in-built GPS. The handset is studded with a 2.8" LCD screen that extends throughout the front face of the device. Besides, it has a legion of features such as a 2.0 mega-pixel camera with auto focus and FM radio with RDS (Radio Data System) that provides data on the station, the current track on air from a station and even traffic alerts.
MWg Zinc II is a new and stylish smart phone with integrated GPS capability, and offers many of the same features of the Atom V with the addition of a semi-automatic sliding QWERTY keyboard ideal for messaging, writing mails, internet browsing and delivering presentations.
MWg offers both Atom V & Zinc II users an easy-to-use touch-driven interface called "Quick Menu", which allows users to tap large graphic icons with their fingertips as well as flip between menus by dragging their finger across the screen.
