
Japanese tech company Sharp has joined hands with Willcom to launch world's first mobile internet device called 'Willcom D4' that will be equipped with the Intel Atom microprocessor and running Windows Vista operating system.
The 'Willcom D4' would measure 188 x 84 x 25.9mm and would weigh just 470grams.
The device bundled with grand features that include Intel Atom Z520 processor at 1.33GHz, a 5- inch TFT screen with 262k color LED-blacklit and 1,024 x 600 pixel of resolution with a 64-key QWERTY keyboard, 1GB RAM, 40GB HDD, and a 2 mega pixels camera.
The Sharp Willcom D4 mobile internet device has connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
The device is also compatible with microSD expansion and WANSEGU Digital TV Tuner.
Sharp's Willcom D4 device will be available in the Japanese market at ¥128,600 (approx. Rs. 50,160) with a two year long contract.
